Etawah, Nov 9 (UNI) Six persons, including a rice mill owner, were arrested by the police for thrashing and kidnapping a man, at Vaidpur area of Etawah district in Uttar Pradesh, a senior police officer said here on Saturday.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Sanjay Kumar said that on November 8, Ashish Kumar, a resident of Nagla Deep village, informed the local police that Dalveer Singh, Umesh Singh, Mangal Singh, Bhure Singh, Keshav Yadav and Pradeep Kumar Agnihotri thrashed his father Ramdev and kidnapped him.
He said that on the basis of the complaint, the police registered a case under relevant sections of BNS. "Three teams were constituted to trace Ramdev," the SSP said.
