UP Planning Institute GSDP grew by just 5 pc in Yogi regime: State Govt

Lucknow, Sep 23 (UNI) The recent report on Uttar Pradesh’s economy released by the State Planning Institute (Economic and Statistics Division) does not paint a rosy picture of the state’s economy as it claims that the state’s economy has grown at less than 5 per cent of Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) in last four-and half-years of Yogi Adityanth regime.
This finding does not augur well because Chief Minister has set the target to take Uttar Pradesh to a 1 Trillion dollar economy in the next five years, the state government said in a statement.
