UP issues SOP for religious places, hotels, restaurants and shopping malls

Lucknow, Jun 6 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh government on Saturday issued the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for reopening of religious places, hotels, restaurants and shopping malls in the state from June 8.

All temples, mosques, gurudwaras and other religious places, hotels, restaurants, and shopping malls except in the containment zones would be allowed to open from Monday but with certain restrictions that everyone should be wearing face masks, health screening during entry, hand sanitising and social distancing of 6 feet. Spitting has been totally banned while everywhere people would be made aware about the prevention of Covid including distribution of pamphlets and use of loudspeakers.
