UP govt to hike the power tariff: Congress

Lucknow, Aug 12(UNI) Uttar Pradesh Congress president Ajay Kumar Lallu on Wednesday said that the people of the state are not going to have any respite as the Yogi Government is planning to further burden them financially by increasing the rate of electricity.
In a statement here , Mr Lallu said that people of the state are already reeling under the wave of lawless and corona pandemic and the Yogi Government is not able to do anything. “The Yogi Government must waive off all electricity bills for the corona period for the common consumers,” said Mr Lallu.
