UP Govt to ensure timely construction of quality Electricity Infrastructure in industrial areas, cities

Lucknow ,Jun 5 (UNI)Following a series of measures for industrial development and investment attraction in Uttar Pradesh, the State Government has taken a significant decision to ensure quality and uninterrupted power supply to industries and other investment projects in the industrial and housing development authorities’ areas of the state.
The government has fixed accountability regarding timely completion of construction work and expenditure etc. for the development of quality electricity infrastructure facilities.
In a Government Order (GO)issued to all Additional Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries and Secretaries on Friday , responsibility has been specified on the basis of relevant Acts and codes to ensure timely completion of construction and payment of construction expenditure of electricity infrastructure in housing and industrial projects being developed from time to time by housing and industrial development authorities, Awas Vikas Parishad, etc.
