UP govt issues order to districts to dispose off pending cases in 'transparent manner'

Lucknow, Jan 20 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh government has issued directions to police officers to undertake campaign to dispose off pending cases in a time bound and transparent manner.
State Chief Secretary Alok Ranjan in a directive here today said a two-month drive should be conducted from February 7 for disposal of land dispute related applications received in Tehsil Divas.
He instructed all district magistrates and senior superintendents of police to ensure regular inspection of police stations.

Two kg of heroin seized near the Myanmar border in Mizoram
