UP: Govt emphasis on more testing despite decline in infection rate

Lucknow, Oct 27 (UNI) The Uttar Pradesh government is insisting on increasing the number of tests to maintain the control of the novel Coronavirus despite the decline in its infection rate.
Additional Chief Secretary (Information) Navneet Sehgal told journalists that there has been a steady decline in the infection rate of Covid-19 in the state but despite this, emphasis is being put on increasing the number of testing. Proper resources are available in the hospitals of the state.
Constant reviews are being done at district, division and headquarters level. The Chief Minister himself is constantly reviewing the situation related to Covid-19.
