UP govt allots land for industrial units in Noida

Lucknow, Apr 16 (UNI) Pursuing the agenda of rapid industrialization and attracting investment, major corporate groups have purchase land at NOIDA. The estimated investment is likely to be Rs 3,870 crore and likely to create fresh jobs for over 48,000 persons.
UP industries minister Satish Mahana said here on Friday that along with Adani group and Dixxion technology have been alloted around 2 lakh sq meter of land to 13 investors in NOIDA paving the way for investment of close to Rs 4,000 crore leading to creation of over 48,000 jobs.
He said Adani group is setting up data centre and New Okhla industrial development authority (NOIDA) has allotted 39,146 sq meters of land to the group. He said Adani group will invest Rs 2,500 crore for developing data centre. He said the data centre will accelerate the process of development of NOIDA as hub of data centre and an important destination for investment. He said the data centre will create 1,160 jobs and indirect jobs for many more.
