UP: Gorakhpur gets Doordarshan centre

Gorakhpur, Dec 3 (UNI) Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Singh Thakur and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday inaugurated the ground sub-centre of Doordarshan in Gorakhpur.
Along with this, they also inaugurated installation of three FM's of the newly created Akashvani of ten kilowatt each at Gadnia in Etawah, Lakhimpur Kheri and Nanpara in Bahraich. The stations were inaugurated through virtual medium.
In his address on the occasion, Anurag Singh Thakur said that with the inauguration of the ground sub-station of Doordarshan in Gorakhpur, now the local programs here will reach all over the country.
