UP: FIR must be registered in Ayodhya Ram Temple donation scam: CPI(ML)

Lucknow, Jun 16(UNI) The Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) Tuesday expressed serious concern over allegations of irregularities and misappropriation in the donations received by the Ayodhya Ram Temple Trust.
The party has demanded a fair and transparent investigation into the entire matter and called for the immediate registration of an FIR on the basis of prima facie evidence of corruption and financial irregularities that have come to light.
In a statement issued, State Secretary Sudhakar Yadav said that this matter, which concerns the faith and contributions of millions of devotees across the country, should neither be suppressed nor portrayed merely as an internal dispute within the BJP.
