UP cops assaulted girl

Meerut, Sep 25 (UNI) Ugly face of the`Khakhi’, particularly their sensitivity towards dealing with the members of fairer sex, once again stand exposed in Uttar Pradesh after a video clippings, showing how a girl was assaulted by the cops in Meerut went viral on Tuesday.
Interestingly, senior officers who claimed to be ignorant till then about the in-human act of their colleagues, had suspended the errant policemen and ordered a probe into the matter. They also claimed that action will be taken against the person who uploaded the video as the identity of the victim was not concealed by him.
Revealing about the development, SP (City), Ramvijay Singh, said that they go through the video which went viral on Tuesday and claimed that the matter was related to a boy and girl who were brought the Medical Thana on complaint few days back. He said that later they called the parents of both and handed them in their custody of completing the legal formalities.
