UP Congress demands CBI probe under SC/ HC monitoring in Narendra Giri's death

Lucknow, Sep 21(UNI) Condoling the death of Akhara Parishad President Mahant Narendra Giri under suspicious circumstances, the Uttar Pradesh Congress on Tuesday demanded an investigation of the matter by the CBI under the supervision of the Supreme Court or the Division Bench of the High Court.

In the press conference held at the state headquarters on Tuesday, Congress Working Committee member and former Rajya Sabha member Pramod Tiwari and State Congress President Ajay Kumar Lallu jointly expressed their anger over the incident and said that till now 21 saints have been killed or have died under suspicious circumstances in the rule of a Chief Minister who calls himself Yogi.
