Lucknow,Apr 9 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday declared that all the hot spot areas in the state would be divided into sectors and a magistrate should be appointed in-charge who would ensure sanitization of the area as we all make available essential commodities to the people their doorsteps.
While reviewing the imposition of lock down in different parts of the state CM said that medical teams should be allowed to go to every house and verify the cases. The district administration should provide help to the medical staff. Whosoever will violate the norms of shut down will be severely punished, Yogi said while reviewing the lock down with state officials here.
"The designated magistrates in each of the hot spots will record the number of houses, the families staying there and other details about their health and if they'd were in touch with any positive Covid 19 patients. The total locality should be sanitized,' CM said.
There are 102 hot spots in Uttar Pradesh. The hot spot areas where number of corona positive cases is high. The highest hot spot areas are in Agra where 22 localities would be sealed followed by 13 in Ghaziabad, 12 each Gautam Buddha Nagar and Lucknow, 10 in Kanpur, four in Varanasi, three in Shamli, 7 in Meerut, 3 each in Bulandshahr, Basti and Ferozabad, four each in Saharanpur and Maharajganj and one each in Sitapur and Bareilly.
The CM further said that local administration should ensure that all banks and other establishments should remain closed and residents of the locality will be provided food grains, milk and vegetables at their door steps.
He stated that shut down should be total in the hot spot areas and not a single person without any valid reason should come out of their house. "If anyone violates this norm, he should be punished,".
The CM has again appealed to the people of the state to give any information about the missing Tablighi Jamat people as such person could be threat to the society infighting Corona virus pandemic. He also asked people to cover their faces in public and asked the police and authorities to enforce the face mask system in the society strictly.
'The audit of the ventilators in medical colleges and district hospitals should be done. These should be in working condition. Besides, availability of Personal Protection Equiments (PPEs), masks and gloves should be ensured in the hospitals, he added.
