Lucknow, Mar 29 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath directed the officials to provide all kinds of facilities to migrant workers from other states, so that they did not need to return back to their native places.
The CM held a review meeting with senior officials on Sunday at his government residence.
He sought updates about the latest lockdown conditions due to the Coronavirus infection. The Chief Minister also interacted with workers and people coming from outside to the state at Mohan Toll Plaza on Lucknow-Agra Expressway and Alambagh intersection. “All those who are coming to Uttar Pradesh, or are staying here already, are our responsibility in this hour of crisis. We will take complete care of them. They are being provided food, water and medicines,” he said.
While on inspection near the Mohan Road Toll Plaza, the Chief Minister interacted with workers and people coming from Delhi and other states. He directed the officers to ensure for the comfort of all people, and also get their health checkup done. Along with this, orders were also given to quarantine everyone for 14 days and to get the sick hospitalized immediately.
