UP BJP chief hits out at Oppn; calls them 'corrupt'

Lucknow, Sep 19 (UNI) With a year left for the 2019 Lok Sabha polls, the UP BJP chief Mahendra Nath Pandey on Wednesday took a dig against the oppositions, saying that the decision of Congress to join SP-BSP alliance will spell trouble for the party as both these parties are 'corrupt'.
“Everyone knows what had happened during BSP and SP regime. The leadership looted government exchequer to fill personal coffer neglecting the plight of the people. If Congress wants to contest elections with these corrupt parties it will land itself in trouble,” Mr Pandey said while addressing a Samajik Paratinidhi event here.
He also alleged that the BSP leader Mayawati should not forget about the guest house incident where Samajwadi Party goons tried to kill her. That time only BJP came to her rescue and now she is ready to join hands with SP.
