UP: 5-yr-old allegedly raped in Kanpur

Kanpur, Dec 24 (UNI) A youth allegedly raped a five-year-old girl in the Ghatampur area here, police sources said on Thursday.
The incident happened in the Rati village of the Ghatampur area where the accused, who had come from Kanpur Dehat, lured the girl on the pretext of giving her toffee. The youth instead took the girl to a field where he allegedly raped her on Wednesday evening.
The locals who were passing from there heard the girl crying and reached the spot. They beat up the accused and informed the police about the incident.
