UoH named Lead Knowledge Institution for Telangana under NITI Aayog Mission

Hyderabad, May 19 (UNI) University of Hyderabad (UoH) has been formally nominated as the Lead Knowledge Institution (LKI) for the Government of Telangana under the State Support Mission (SSM) of NITI Aayog.
The nomination was communicated by the Telangana Planning Department, recognising the university’s multidisciplinary research expertise and policy support capabilities to strengthen evidence-based governance in the state, a UoH statement said on Monday.
As part of the initiative, the university will provide research-based policy inputs, technical expertise, monitoring and evaluation frameworks, data analytics, sectoral studies and capacity-building support to various government departments. UoH will work closely with the Planning Department and other state agencies in preparing thematic action plans and policy recommendations aligned with Telangana’s developmental priorities and Vision 2047 goals.
