UoH enters into strategic alliance withTCS

Hyderabad, Jan 21 (UNI) University of Hyderabad (UoH) on Friday entered into a partnership with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) in research and innovation on next-generation communications technologies, semiconductor engineering, and heterogeneous computing architectures.
The MoU was signed by TCS Senior Vice President and Global Head of Technology Business Unit V Rajanna and UoH Registrar P Sardar Singh in the presence of UoH Vice-Chancellor B J Rao and other officials in the university campus, the University said in a statement.
"The MoU opens up the prospects for TCS and the University of Hyderabad to collaborate on fundamental research, technology validation and addressing transformational opportunities through the use of NextGen technologies." V Rajanna said."We are delighted to partner with the University of Hyderabad in this multi-disciplinary research initiative, under TCS’ Academic COINTM Program. Academic collaborations are part of our research strategy and build tangible value for all stakeholders," Executive Vice President and Chief technology Officer, TCS K Ananth Krishnan said.
