Universities getting full assistance from Centre, Bihar government for improving basic infrastructure

Ara, Oct 22 (UNI) Bihar governor cum Chancellor of state's universities Fagu Chauhan today said Centre and Bihar government were extending full support to the state's universities for improving basic infrastructure.
Addressing a function to mark the 28th foundation day of Veer Kuer Singh here, Mr Chauhan said that there was no dearth of resources for improving basic infrastructure in the state's universities. Agenda had been fixed for the growth of higher education in the state, he said adding there was a necessity for firm commitment to move on the path of duty consistently.
The Chancellor said that university administration, government and Raj Bhawan had to work in tandem and take decisions in the wider interest of students. He said NAC evaluation in universities and colleges, strict adherence to biometric attendance, regular convocation ceremonies and improvement in the quality of research work were in his list of priorities.
