Unitech top officials got interim bail in cheating case

New Delhi, Jan 11 (UNI) A Delhi Court today granted interim bail to top Unitech officials in a cheating case, who were sent to 14-day judicial custody earlier by a court.
The complainants Chartered Accountant Sanjay Kalra and his business partner Devesh Wadhwa had booked a property in Habitat Apartments in Greater Noida developed by Unitech Ltd but were not given possession.
Unitech Ltd Chairman Ramesh Chandra, Managing Directors Sanjay Chandra and Ajay Chandra and Director Minoti Bahri appeared before a Metropolitan Magistrate court as non-bailable warrants were issued against them and submitted that due to financial constraints and circumstances they were not able to make the payment to the complainant.
