Unique 'Guru Granth Sahib Bagh' comes up at Patto Hira Singh village

Patto Hira Singh (Moga), Sep 21 (UNI) A unique garden has been created at the historic village of Patto Hira Singh by the EcoSikh organization with the Petals organization to highlight the message of Guru Sahibs to connect with nature as conveyed in Gurbani, in which 58 plants, shrubs, crops have been planted which are mentioned in the Holy Guru Granth Sahib.
The garden was inaugurated on Tuesday by Panj Pyare Sahiban in the presence of Deputy Commissioner Sandeep Hans, former Akal Takht Jathedar Prof Manjit Singh, Punjab Arts Council Chairman Dr Surjit Patel, Mr Charan Singh Mumbai, Sant Gurmeet Singh Khosa Pando and others.
Addressing a brief but impressive function at Gurdwara Gurusar Sahib, DC Sandeep Hans expressed happiness over the contribution of many leading organizations in saving the environment which is getting polluted day by day. He assured that the district administration would extend all possible support in such works.

3 persons including one woman arrested under NDPS Act
