Union MoS Rajiv Rudy predicts win of BJP in Nagaland Assembly polls

Kohima, Jun 21 (UNI) Union Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (Independent Charge) Rajiv Pratap Rudy has said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) can foresee positive aspect of its growth in the northeast region especially after its big wins in Manipur and Assam, and the party will position itself for the next election in Nagaland with active participation. Mr. Rudy, who arrived at Dimapur yesterday to grace the International Yoga Day 2017 here, briefing media persons last evening, has asserted ‘PM Modi has special focus on northeast region especially Nagaland state in terms of bringing development and peace process,’ he said the prime focus of the Narendra Modi-led NDA Government is on the poor, underprivileged people, farmers, unemployed and women. Highlighting major policies of the government, Rudy informed that the present government was absolutely focused on improving the lives of the down-trodden, under privileged, person with disabilities, unemployed and farmers. He added that Central Government had launched almost 100 schemes across the country which had benefitted “the last man.” On the programmes taken up by skill development ministry, Rudy disclosed that 22,000 fresh youths would be given training under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana which is a 100 per cent funded scheme covered by the Centre. He said the ministry was also in the process of setting up two ITI locations at Kiphire and Longleng which would be taken up once the state government provides land. Rudy refuted claims that the BJP was prompting the cow imbroglio, which has also put the BJP led NDA Government in a fix. Responding to the ‘cow slaughter and beef ban’ issue in the country, Rudy maintained ‘every citizen should adhere to the Constitution of India and not create Constitution confrontation’. “The law of the land should be respected and allowed to practice without any infringement,” conveyed the Union Minister Rudy.
