Kohima Sep 18 (UNI) Union Minister of State for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Electronics & Information Technology Rajeev Chandrasekhar today visited Mongken, an apparel & garment production and training unit in Dimapur, which is a convergence project under SANKALP, under the Union Ministry of skill development and entrepreneurship.
According to official sources during a short interaction with the officials, Additional Director Department of Under-Developed Areas (DUDA) Anungla Phom highlighted how Mongken brand was initiated by the department to create economic opportunities for local designers, artisans and craftsmen from Nagaland.
She also informed the establishment of Anghya market linkage hub in 2019 in all four district headquarters of eastern Nagaland to maximize income generation in rural areas.
