Union Minister Bandi Sanjay criticises Congress over alleged neglect of Hindu temples

Hyderabad, Nov 8 (UNI) Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar strongly criticised the Congress government, accusing it of failing to protect Hindu temples during its rule.
Speaking at Shamshabad Airport Colony on Friday, Kumar questioned why temple attackers were often dismissed as "madmen" and why attacks were seemingly targeted at Hindu places of worship. He suggested that this lack of action against perpetrators could provoke a unified Hindu response against the government.
Kumar, who visited a Hanuman temple in Shamshabad along with BJP leaders, cited several incidents of idol desecration in areas such as Santhosh Nagar, Goshamahal, Amberpet, and Medchal, alleging that authorities have ignored these incidents under Congress rule.
