Union HRD Minister Parakash Javdekar announces supplementary NEET exam for Karnataka and Odisha students

Bengaluru, May 6 (UNI) Union Human Resources Minister Prakash Javdekar today said that over 500 students who missed NEET entrance examinations in Karnataka will get another chance to enter the medical field as the HRD Ministry had decided to conduct a supplementary examinations for students who missed the tests due to late arrival of Hampi Express in Bengaluru.
In his twitter, he said the Karnataka students will not be denied their chances and supplementary test will be held on May 20 to give them their due in the same examination centers in Bengaluru.
He said he had instructed the officials to accommodate the students from Ballari and Koppal districts in the most backward Hyderabad-Karnataka region who were denied to take the test due to late arrival of Hampi Express that ran over 7 hours in delay due to diversion of the route.
