Union Health Min lauds Jharkhand for its progress in Health Sector, assures full cooperation for projects

Ranchi, Sep 18 (UNI) Lauding the state for its performance and improvement in the key health indices Union Health Minister J P Nadda today assured the state of full cooperation of the central government and in department in the ongoing and future health related projects of the state.
Addressing the press after chairing a detailed review of the health department with the senior officials of the state government including Jharkhand’s Health Minister Ramchandra Chandravanshi he said that Jharkhand has performed better in the area of reduction of Maternal Mortality Rate which has been reduced by 46 points in the last three years while the Infant Mortality rate has seen a declined in the state and so has the total fertility rate.
“Centre will extend full support to the state in all its health projects,” Mr Nadda said, adding that during the state government has assured to complete the construction of all the wellness centers in time. He said that on September 23 the Prime Minister will also inaugurate 10 wellness centers in Jharkhand.
