The article said: "Despite mishandling COVID-19—the death toll has been estimated to be much higher than the official count—his approval rating has slipped to a still sky-high 71 per cent."
The article on Mamata Banerjee called her face of fierceness in Indian politics. It mentioned her rise from poverty, working once as a stenographer and a milk-booth vendor to support her family.
It also said if any coalition of forces may come together to counter PM Modi nationally, "Mamata is almost certain to be the pivot."
Adar Poonawal, CEO of Serum Institute of India that is manufacturing Covid-19 vaccines, featured in the list among the most influential pioneers.
Prince Harry and and his wife Meghan Markle have been listed among the most influential icons.
