Heavy rainfall likely to occur in South Coastal AP in next 24 hours : Met

Hyderabad, Nov 22 (UNI) Heavy rainfall is likely to occur at isolated places in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the next 24 hours, Meteorological Centre said on Monday.
In a bulletin here, it said that thunderstorm accompanied with lightning is likely to occur at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the next 24 hours.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at a few places in Telangana, North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the next five days, the bulletin said.
The Northeast monsoon has been vigorous in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the last 24 hours.
Heavy rainfall occurred at one or two places in Guntur district of South Coastal Andhra Pradesh during the same period.
Rainfall occurred at few places in Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam (Puducherry) and at one or two places in Rayalaseema.
The lowest minimum temperature of 20 degree Celsius, 21 degree Celsius and 20.1 degree Celsius was recorded at Medak, Hyderabad of Telangana and Arogyavaram of Rayalaseema on the intervening night of Sunday and today, the bulletin added.
