New Delhi, Aug 22 (UNI) Congress leader and AICC General secretary incharge for Uttar Pradesh west Jyotiraditya Scindia was on Thursday named as chairman of the screening committee for the Maharashtra assembly polls,
The six member screening committee, approved by Congress president Sonia Gandhi, includes as its members PCC chief Bslasaheb Thorat, AICC General secretary incharge for Maharashtra Mallikarjun Kharge and State CLP leader K C Padavi, AICC General secretary K C Venugopal said.
