Undav brace secures thrilling Stuttgart comeback against Augsburg

Berlin, Nov 10 (UNI) VfB Stuttgart maintained their perfect home record and solidified their hold on fourth place in the Bundesliga with a thrilling 3-2 comeback victory over Augsburg.
After a grueling run of seven matches in just over three weeks, Stuttgart head coach Sebastian Hoeness made several changes to his lineup, introducing four fresh players from the side that defeated Feyenoord midweek.
Augsburg, who had lost their previous three league matches, made a bright start, taking the lead inside eight minutes. Fabian Rieder capitalized on defensive confusion to score after Alexander Nubel had twice denied Anton Kade and Alexis Claude-Maurice. Stuttgart responded quickly as Maximilian Mittelstadt converted a VAR-awarded penalty for a foul by Keven Schlotterbeck on Dan-Axel Zagadou.
