Bengaluru, May 4 (UNI) Sunrisers Hyderabad, at a must win situation, to claim the lone vacant fourth berth to enter the play off in the IPL current season, posed a tricky 176 run target upon Royal Challengers Bengaluru, played at M Chinnaswamy stadium here today.
Playing on a good wicket, but with home team bowlers posing challenge, Sunrisers captain shored up the innings with a unbeaten 70 scored of just 43 balls as he hit five fours and three sixes and the former champions, sans the missing big names scored 28 runs in the last over bowled by Umesh Yadav to stay in contention.
Earlier, RCB bowlers were tight and Yazuvendra Chahal came up with good spells ending with 24-1 in his four overs while talented Washington Sunder also scuttled the rival teams run rate in the middle overs.
