Uma stresses on inclusion of dalits

Bhopal, Sep 26 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party leader and former Union minister Uma Bharati said on Sunday that it should be borne in mind that Backward Classes and dalits – including members of the Lodhi community – are “principally included” among fresh faces to be shortly inducted in the Uttar Pradesh Council of Ministers.
“The party especially sends me to areas dominated by Lodhis and Other Backward Classes for electioneering. When they respond to my appeal and vote for the BJP then I also have to speak openly regarding them to the party. In 2014 and 2019, the maximum Backward Classes exercised their franchise in favour of the BJP. However, when governments are formed at the Centre and in the states; Backward Classes, dalits and tribal folk are often disappointed,” Madhya Pradesh’s ex-chief minister conveyed via social media.
