New Delhi, July 18 (UNI) Ultra Media and Entertainment Group has launched a 18 set Season III DVD collection of 'Devon Ke Dev Mahadev' (DKDM) -- a mythological magnum opus on the legends of Lord Shiva, the most powerful god in the Hindu culture.
DKDM was produced, marketed and telecast on a scale and grandeur never before seen on Indian Television.
The show telecast on December 18, 2011 from Monday to Friday at 2100 hrs on Life OK channel. It ran until December 14, 2014.
It was an instant success from its very first episode itself and enjoyed a high TRP rating throughout its tenure.
Produced by Nikhil Sinha, the show starred Mohit Raina as the lead protagonist playing Lord Shiva. Sonarika Bhadoria played the role of Parvati whereas Mouni Roy donned a role of Sati.
The cast was also supported by Pooja Bose, Saurabh Jain, Falak Naaz and many others complimented by a soulful music by Inder Bawra.
The Season III DVD collection of DKDM is a re-edited package of the original episodes from number 309 to 440 telecast in the channel.
It has been amended in a very lucid story telling format, wherein every episode is continued by the other as its logical extension. This easy to watch, uninterrupted format makes it effortless for viewers to follow the entire journey seamlessly.
To simplify it more the entire content is supported by English subtitles and a digital surround audio output.
Out of the 131 episodes covered in this set some of the prominent chapters are- Ganesh Pratham Pujya, Dashanan Tapasya, Mahadev Ka Vrishabh Avtaar Jalandhar Durgasur, Mallikarjuna Jyotirlinga, Ganesh and Kartikeya Ka Vivaah, Raavan Mandodari Vivaah.
