ULFA Chief Rajkhowa addressed UIPC meeting in Tripura

Agartala, Dec 22 (UNI) ULFA Chairman Arvind Rajkhowa attended the meeting of United Indigenous Peoples’ Council (UIPC), the common platform of surrendered extremists of Tripura in his first ever visit the state today, which raised questions.
According to police report, Rajkhowa was received by ATTF supremo Ranjit Debbarma, former NLFT leader Suran Debbarma at Agartala airport yesterday. Ranjit Debbarma said, Rajkhowa was invited to come to Tripura to attend ‘Tring’ festival at Tulashikhar of Khowai.
In the sideline of the festival, Rajkhowa told media that surrendered militants may return to jungles if the government fails to settle the rehabilitation related issues of them and said, “Every individual wants to lead a decent life but whoever had gone to underground for a grater cause. A section of them joined in mainstream accepting the package and privileged offered to them by central government, if these are not fulfilling properly what will they do?”.
