Ukraine, UK sign 100 yr partnership agreement - Statement

Moscow, Jan 16 (UNI) Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer have signed a 100-year partnership agreement between Ukraine and the United Kingdom, the Ukrainian government said on Thursday.
"In Kyiv, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Keir Starmer signed the One Hundred Year Partnership Agreement between Ukraine and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, which includes both open and confidential sections," the statement published on Zelenskyy's official website read.
The new partnership will focus on deepening defense and non-defense relations. It also aims to enhance scientific and technological collaboration in healthcare, agrotechnology, space exploration, and drones, the statement noted.

Negotiations aim to defend National interests, do not mean surrender: Pezeshkian

Tehran, May 10 (UNI) Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said on Sunday that the very basis of engaging in negotiations with the United States is to secure the country’s rights and firmly defend national interests, asserting that dialogue should not be interpreted as “surrender or retreat.”
Pezeshkian said the Iranian nation “will never bow before the enemy,” as reported by the Iranian state media.
