Ukraine to consider imposing martial law over sea incident - National Security Council

KIEV, Nov 26 (Sputnik) Kiev is considering the possibility of imposing martial law after recent incident in the Black Sea, and the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine (NSDC) is convening an urgent meeting to discuss this issue, NSDC Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov said on Sunday.
Earlier, Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) reported that three ships of the Ukrainian Navy — Berdyansk, Nikopol and Yany Kapu — had been detained after violating Russian state border. The Ukrainian did not react to legal demands of the ships accompanying them and made dangerous maneuvers, the FSB noted.
"It is proposed to hold a meeting of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine for the announcement of the legar regime of martial law," Turchynov said at a briefing broadcast by Ukrainian TV channels.
