Ukraine loses over 400 soldiers in Russia's Kursk Region

Kyiv, Oct 12 (UNI) The Ukrainian armed forces have lost over 400 soldiers and 18 armored vehicles, including six tanks, two infantry fighting vehicles and 10 armored combat vehicles, over the past day, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Saturday.
"During the day, the AFU losses amounted to more than 400 troops, 18 armoured vehicles, including six tanks, two infantry fighting vehicles, 10 armoured fighting vehicles, as well as four artillery guns, two multiple rocket launchers (U.S.-made HIMARS MLRS and Czech-made Vampire MLRS launchers), four mortars, one electronic warfare station, and 14 motor vehicles. Seven AFU servicemen surrendered," the ministry said in a statement.
Russia's aviation and artillery hit clusters of manpower and equipment belonging to 11 Ukrainian brigades in 19 districts of the Kursk Region as well as clusters of Ukrainian reserve forces stationed with seven brigades in 13 districts of the Sumy Region.
