UK PM Keir Starmer dismisses reports of internal dissent within Labour, amid terrible ratings

London, Nov 12 (UNI) UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer finds himself at the centre of a political quandary, amid increasing reports of internal dissent and plots by his opponents in the Labour Party to replace him as leader. The PM has dismissed the reports as utter tripe and said he had appointed his "best people" to the cabinet posts, and was certain they would never plot against him.
Regardless of their authenticity, the reports of internal dissent could potentially worsen his already dismal approval ratings, as they come just two weeks before the government is set to announce its budget.
Many of his own fellow Labour officials have expressed uncertainty about Starmer's term, and have been increasingly losing confidence in him, with British media agencies reporting that his job might be under immediate threat, quoting Starmer's own Labour allies.
