UK PM Boris Johnson tests positive for COVID-19

London, Mar 27 (UNI) United Kingdom Prime Minister Boris Johnson was on Friday tested positive for the coronavirus.

"Over the last 24 hours I have developed mild symptoms and tested positive for coronavirus. I am now self-isolating, but I will continue to lead the government’s response via video-conference as we fight this virus. Together we will beat this," Johnson wrote on Twitter.

London, Jun 3 (UNI) UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Wednesday called the death of an African-American man, George Floyd, in police custody in Minneapolis, which sparked protests across the United States, as "appalling"
"I think what happened in the United States was appalling, was inexcusable, we all saw it on our screens, and I perfectly understand people's right to protest. I also believe that protests should take place in a lawful and reasonable way," Johnson said at the parliament.
