UK ministers want allies to allow Ukraine use long-range missiles

London, Aug 15 (UNI) UK ministers are trying to persuade allies to allow Ukraine use long-range Storm Shadow cruise missiles, provided to it, to strike inside Russia, The Times reported.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in July that the new UK government allowed Ukraine to use Storm Shadows for deep-territory strikes on Russia. The Telegraph later reported that the UK Ministry of Defense refuted the claims.
According to The Times, governments have been reluctant so far to allow Ukraine use long-range weapons possibly capable of hitting Russian towns and villages because of the risk of escalation.
