UDF finalises 21-member Kerala Cabinet: VD Satheesan to take oath as CM on Monday

Thiruvananthapuram, May 17 (UNI) The Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) has virtually finalised the composition of Kerala’s new 21-member Council of Ministers ahead of Chief Minister-designate V D Satheesan taking oath on Monday, with marathon discussions on portfolios, political representation, and power-sharing entering the concluding phase on Sunday.
The final list of ministers is expected to be submitted to Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar by around 2 pm.
Satheesan will be sworn in along with all 20 ministers in a single ceremony on May 18, formally marking the UDF’s return to power after the Assembly elections.
