Islamabad, Nov 25(UNI) The United Arab Emirates announced on Wednesday that it was temporarily snapped the new visas to the citizens of Pakistan, Afghanistan and several other mostly Muslim majority countries citing security concerns.
However, it wasn't made clear as to what those security concerns were, but UAE authorities said the visa ban was expected to last only for a short period, Dawn reported.
Last week, the Foreign Office said the UAE had stopped processing new visas for Pakistani citizens and those of some other countries.
