New Delhi, Jan 16 (UNI) The Congress on Wednesday saw itself getting embroiled into a fresh controversy on the 1984 riots case with the presence of senior party leader and one of the alleged accused in the case jagdish tytler at a function where former Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dixit took charge as DPCC president .
The Congress leader was seen to be present on the dias in the front row during the function, evoking a controversy.
Mr Tytler, however, sought to allay the controversy by denying any involvement in the 1984 riots case.
