Two ULFA (I) cadres nabbed in Arunachal Pradesh

Itanagar, Oct 2 (UNI) Security forces have arrested two active cadres of the proscribed insurgent group ULFA (I) during an operation in Tirap district of Arunachal Pradesh, sources said on Monday.
Based on ‘credible’ information, the Khonsa Battalion of Assam Rifles alongwith Tirap Police launched an operation on Sunday to apprehend the two hardcore insurgents, who had crossed over the Indo-Myanmar border to try and make their way to Assam in a bid to carry out subversive activities.
The apprehended cadres have been identified as ‘self styled private’ Nilutpal Asom alias Monjit Gogoi and ‘self styled private’ Upen Asom alias Ruhini Gogoi.
