Two smugglers arrested with 5 kgs of opium in Chatra

Chatra, Jul 21 (UNI) Police has arrested couple of smugglers alongwith 5 kgs of opium from Vashisthnagar Jori Police Station area of this district.
Following a tip off regarding the movement of couple of smugglers on a bike alongwith the opium, a vehicle search drive was launched and the duo were nabbed from near a bridge.
The arrested have been identified as Viren Ganjhu and Mukesh Mahto of Chilaur village under Kunda Police Station area. The duo were later forwarded to jail.
