Two siblings die in fire mishap

Muzaffarpur, Feb 20 (UNI) Two children were charred to death when fire broke out inside a house near Dubaha railway station under Sakra police station area in the district late last night.
Police said here today that the fire broke out inside the house of one Dharmendra Rai after a lamp fell on the floor killing his two minor children. Sources said the deceased had been identified as Khushi (7) and Priyanshu (5).
Police said firemen struggled hard to douse the flames. The bodies have been sent to Sri Krishna Medical College and Hospital for autopsy, sources added.

Itanagar, Mar 29 (UNI) In a repeat of previous poll outcomes, the hilly Northeastern state of Arunachal Pradesh is ‘set’ to witness seven candidates from ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), including Chief Minister Pema Khandu, getting elected 'unopposed' to the 11th Legislative Assembly of Arunachal Pradesh, 'without a contest'.
After ‘complete’ scrutiny of nominations filed for all 60 Assembly Constituencies, including the ‘adjourned’ scrutiny of papers done for Itanagar and Daporijo seats today, altogether seven validly nominated BJP candidates were found to be opponent free, and they are likely to be declared elected unopposed on Saturday after the last date of withdrawal of candidature, Joint Chief Electoral Officer Liken Koyu said.
