Two Punjab youths Arrested in Dehra Theft Case, Stolen Cash Recovered

Dharamshala, May 18 (UNI) Police in Himachal Pradesh’s Dehra district have achieved a major breakthrough in a theft case by recovering the entire stolen cash amount and arresting two accused involved in multiple theft incidents.
Dehra district superintendent of police Mayank Chaudhary told UNI that a complainant Suresh Kumar, a resident of Upper Kaloha village under Rakkar tehsil in Kangra district, had lodged a complaint at Rakkar Police Station on April 23, that around 9:15 pm on the same day, three unidentified persons riding a scooter and a motorcycle entered his shop and fled with cash, the shop’s cash box, and a mobile phone.
He said that following the complaint, police registered FIR No. 27/26 under Sections 305 and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and launched an investigation.
