Two people arrested for indulging in Hawala transaction illegally and Rs 75.70 lakhs cash seized

Bengaluru, Nov 29 (UNI) Two people, including one from Hyderabad and another from Tamil Nadu, were arrested on charges of indulging illegally in 'Hawala' for money transfer and Rs 75,70,000 cash was seized from them by Central Crime Branch (CCB) sleuths in the City on Wednesday.
Police said that the arrested were identified as Nisar Ahmed, native of Jansingar Colony, Toli Chowki, Hyderabad, Telangana State and Nandish, native of Campsto Club Road, Udakamandalam, Tamil Nadu State.
During questioning, the arrested have revealed that one Mujahid Alam Khan of Hyderabad had purchased a Banglow in Udakamandalam for Rs 7.15 Crore and for registration they had contacted Real Estate Agent Nandish who demanded his commission be paid through black money. Hawala Broker Dinesh of Bengaluru was contacted and Rs 75 lakhs was taken through Hawala. Nissar had come to Bengaluru to take the Hawala amount from Dinesh.
