Baramulla, Dec 31 (UNI) Two intruders were killed immediately after they sneaked into this side under the cover of heavy firing by Pakistani troops at Line of Control (LoC) in Naugam sector of north Kashmir district of Kupwara, official sources said here on Monday.
They said troops guarding the LoC noticed a group of intruders sneaking into this side under the cover of heavy firing by Pakistani troops in Naugam sector early this morning. Indian troops also retaliated and the exchange of fire continued for some time.
Later during the search in the dense forest and difficult terrain two bodies of intruders, who were wearing combat dresses like Pakistani Regulars and carrying stores with Pakistani markings, were recovered.
"A massive search operation was going on in the woods when the reports last came in," they added.
