Two NLFT militants surrenders to BSF

Agartala, May 24 (UNI) Two activists of banned outfit NLFT (BM) surrendered before BSF with their wives and children at BSF's border outpost (BOP) in Dhalai district without arms yesterday when entire country was in victory mood.
BSF officials said they had contacted with the officers of BSF's BOP Ganesh under Dhalai District from Mandarichera insurgent camp of Bangladesh and expressed their desire to join in mainstream and BSF responded accordingly.
According to report, surrendered insurgents were identified as self-style lance corporal Paresh Debbarma (47) of Mandai who came up with his wife Pomita Debbarma (22) and son Rahel Debbarma (10 Months) and another self-style Sepoy Dipenjoy Tripura (23) of Ganganagar of Dhalai district and his wife Karjabala Tripura (20) and son Jugan Tripura (14 Months).
They had to flee from the hideout of Bangladesh three days ago and cross the border through Raishyabari of Gandacherra in Dhalai district. While Paresh had joined the NLFT (BM) group in year 2000 and Dipenjoy joined in 2006 and carried out several terror activities across the state.
They received training from different camps in Bangladesh.
